Samsung Blu-ray BD-P1500
Samsung has officially presented their latest fourth-generation Blu-ray player - model BD-P1500. The device has an HDMI 1.3 interface and the capability of converting signal to 1080p format.
The BD-P1500 allows you to play BD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R (V mode), DVD-RW (Mode V / VR), Audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW. It can display video in 1080p (24 f / sec. And 60 f / sec.) and has a built-in decoders for Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby TrueHD.
The device is compatible with BD Profile 1.1 Bonus View and BD Live. It offers a built-in HDMI connector ver.1.3 with HDMI-CEC (on the rear panel - outputs and S-Video). In addition, it can use the Ethernet connector (you can use it to update software via the Internet) and a USB port. BD-P1500 will be available in store in June at a price not exceeding $ 400.
